Inspiration🔴 Problem
In rural areas of Nabha, Punjab, access to quality healthcare is extremely limited. Patients must often travel long distances for even basic consultations because of:
Shortage of doctors and clinics in villages.
Poor internet connectivity and digital infrastructure.
Lack of awareness and user-friendly health platforms.
High travel cost and time wastage.
This leads to delayed treatments, poor follow-ups, and high medical risks for rural families.
🟢 Solution
We propose a Telemedicine Platform designed specifically for rural healthcare challenges. Our solution provides:
Video, audio, and text-based consultations with doctors.
Appointment booking & reminders for better follow-up.
Electronic Health Records (EHRs) stored securely for patients.
Low-bandwidth & offline support, ensuring access even with weak internet.
Local language interface for ease of use.
Integration with community health workers to record vitals and share with doctors.
🌍 Impact
Our project aims to transform rural healthcare in Nabha by:
Reducing travel time and cost for patients.
Providing timely treatment, preventing escalation of health issues.
Bridging the doctor-patient gap in rural regions.
Improving healthcare accessibility & awareness in local communities.
Creating a scalable model that can be expanded to other rural areas of India.
