Inspiration

This system is designed to help people book transport easily using an online platform. It will work in both cities and rural areas, making transport more organized and efficient.

What it does

reduces crowding at bus stations by allowing passengers to track their bus arrival times in real-time, so they arrive just in time instead of waiting for long periods.

How we built it

We built the project by focusing on essential features first, due to limited time. We prioritized core functionalities to ensure a working solution within the short timeframe, using efficient tools and technologies. We then planned to expand and refine additional features in future updates.

Challenges we ran into

The main challenge we faced was the limited time compared to the ambitious vision for the project. While we aimed to create a feature-rich platform, the short timeline forced us to prioritize essential functionalities, leaving advanced features for future updates.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud to have developed a Transport Booking System that enhances accessibility and efficiency in Rwanda. Our key achievements include a user-friendly interface, seamless cashless payments (MTN MoMo & Airtel Money), real-time transport updates, and a scalable system for future growth. This project reflects our commitment to innovation in Rwanda’s transport sector.

What we learned

We learned the importance of time management, prioritization, and team collaboration. Facing tight deadlines, we focused on essential features while staying adaptable. We also gained experience with efficient tools and planned for future improvements.

What's next for TegaX

We plan to refine and expand features, improve user experience, and optimize performance. Future updates will include additional functionalities, better automation, and scalability to meet growing demand. We also aim to gather user feedback and continuously enhance the system for a seamless booking experience.
