💡 Inspiration

Financial literacy remains a major gap in Pakistan, especially among teenagers and young adults. Many individuals begin managing money without understanding core concepts like budgeting, saving, or investing, which often leads to poor financial decisions.

Teen Finance Hub is an AI-powered finance learning platform designed for students and early professionals. It offers:

Interactive video modules to explain financial concepts in a simple way Budget tracking tools to help users manage real-life finances Gamified scenarios for implementing thoeritical knowledge into practices An AI chatbot (LLaMA 3-based) that answers queries in an easy-to-understand manner

The platform not only teaches financial concepts but also helps users apply them in their daily lives, making financial learning practical, engaging, and accessible for beginners.

We developed the application using a modern frontend for a clean and responsive UI, combined with backend logic for managing user data and generating insights.

I played a major role in both development and feature implementation, contributing around 60% of the overall coding. My work focused on building core functionalities and enhancing user experience through interactive and practical features.

I designed and implemented a chatbot to assist users by providing instant guidance on financial topics and platform navigation. I also developed the authentication system, including login and signup functionality, ensuring secure and smooth user access.

Additionally, I created a budget tracker module that allows users to manage their expenses and understand financial planning in a practical way. I was responsible for designing and implementing key learning modules, making financial concepts easy to understand.

To improve engagement, I developed interactive quizzes that help users test their knowledge and reinforce learning. Along with these features, I contributed to frontend development, system integration, and continuous updates to ensure the platform works efficiently.

Abdul Qayoom Mangi
I contributed to multiple aspects of the Teen Finance Hub project. I worked on the coding section, I was also responsible for creating and integrating animated videos into the platform, as well as handling their uploading process.

Additionally, I contributed to the frontend development and ensured the final working and integration of the user interface. I implemented the certificate uploading system, including generating and linking QR codes for certificates.

Furthermore, I developed different scenarios and worked on the gamified section of the project to enhance user engagement. Initially, I found some parts of the project confusing, but over time I was able to clearly understand the requirements and successfully implement my ideas.
