🏌️ About the Project: Tee Box Caddie 🚀 What Inspired Us The golf world is full of tradition, but its tools and technology often lag behind. As avid golfers and builders, we were frustrated with the fragmented experience of discovering tournaments, managing teams, handling payments, and staying connected to golf culture. We saw an opportunity to not only streamline this—but to reimagine it using modern tools like blockchain, real-time analytics, and Web3 integration.

Tee Box Caddie was born from a simple question: "What if there was one platform where you could run, join, and enhance every golf tournament—while also managing digital wallets, rewards, and brand partnerships in one place?"

🧠 What We Learned Golfers crave simplicity but value credibility—trust and transparency are everything.

Brands and courses want a central hub to interact with players, promote products, and build loyalty.

Crypto can be a seamless backend tool if positioned properly—not as a barrier, but as a benefit.

Real-time data and centralized tournament access are missing pieces that golfers didn’t know they needed—until now.

🛠️ How We Built It Tee Box Caddie was built using a full-stack approach:

Frontend: Angular for a clean, responsive user experience across devices.

Backend: Firebase and Node.js for real-time updates and scalability.

(Upcoming) Blockchain: Integrated Para Wallet and Li-Fi for wallet management, tournament entry fees, rewards, and transparent financial flows.

Data Layer: Aggregated golf tournaments from across the internet via custom web scraping and indexing scripts—making the first-ever Tournament Finder in golf.

Mobile-First Approach: Native-feel experience tailored to golfers on the move.

🔐 Key Innovation We created the first-ever golf tournament crypto management software—letting users:

Register for tournaments with digital wallets

Receive rewards directly on-chain

Track community wallet spending and revenue (using Chainlink for transparency)

Interact with brand partners through tokenized perks

⚠️ Challenges We Faced Educating users on Web3 tools without overwhelming them

Convincing golf brands and courses to adopt a tech-forward approach

Integrating secure wallet solutions that feel natural for non-crypto users

Building a scalable backend to support real-time tournament indexing, chat, and transaction logging
