Inspiration

Our inspiration came from the realization that tech majors often struggle to prepare for technical interviews amid their busy lives. Traditional practice methods can be time-consuming and inefficient, leaving little room for effective skill-building. We aimed to create a solution that allows students to quickly gain essential knowledge and practice in a fun, engaging way, making it easier for them to ace their interviews and succeed in their careers.

What It Does

TECS Prep is a gamified web app designed to enhance your tech skills through interactive learning.

Choose Your Interests: Select your areas of focus and take a trial test to assess your skill level.
Personalized Learning: Our AI generates customized learning campaigns, curating courses from a vast bank of questions tailored to your difficulty level.
Earn Points & Compare: Complete courses to earn Tecsperience Points, track your progress, and compare skills with friends.
Visualize Your Growth: See your skill development on a visual map and collect badges for your achievements, making learning both rewarding and engaging!

How We Built It

We built TECS Prep using React for the frontend, with Vite for fast development. The app is styled with Bootstrap and CSS3, utilizing HTML5 and JavaScript for interactive elements. We also integrated Cloudflare for performance and security, and used JSON for data management. We are using Generative AI to dynamically generate custom campaigns/ routes to personalize the learning experience to each user and their skills!
