Inspiration

Caleb has used machine learning in the past and loved seeing DALL-E and working with style transfer, so he wanted to build a website that did something similar!

What it does

TECHnique is a website that applies the style of one image (for example. Vincent Van Gogh's Starry Night) to another image (a sloth with a cool cap), creating an interesting mash-up of the too!

How we built it

The machine learning model was created using TensorFlow, the website is hosted and created using Streamlit, and CSS was used to format and style the website.

Challenges we ran into

Neshanth and Caleb were working from different timezones, so it was difficult to work on the project at the same time!

We're just proud to have created this website!

What we learned

This was Caleb's first time creating a style transfer machine learning model and using a Streamlit sidebar!

What's next for TECHnique

Create user login and sign-up sessions to store a user's images and allow for chatting amongst users.
