Inspiration
Patient data is key to healthcare innovation but is often underutilized due to strict privacy rules. This project leverages blockchain to securely unlock its potential, enabling ethical AI-driven advancements.
What it does
TechMedi uses blockchain to anonymize and securely manage patient data, allowing AI systems to analyze it for personalized medical treatments, early disease detection, and enhanced healthcare services while ensuring privacy.
How we built it
We integrated blockchain for secure data storage and anonymization. Smart contracts were used to control access and maintain transparency, allowing AI systems to process data without compromising patient privacy.
Challenges we ran into
Ensuring compliance with privacy laws while providing meaningful access to healthcare data for AI was a key challenge. We also faced difficulties with optimizing blockchain efficiency for larger datasets in a healthcare setting.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We successfully demonstrated how blockchain can securely handle patient data, enabling AI-driven healthcare solutions. The project showcases the potential to ethically use sensitive healthcare data for innovative advancements.
What we learned
We learned the importance of balancing privacy, security, and accessibility in healthcare data management. The integration of blockchain with AI revealed key insights into making data use ethical and effective.
What's next for TechMedi
TechMedi plans to scale the solution by integrating more diverse datasets, collaborating with healthcare providers for real-world testing, and further enhancing the blockchain model to support larger applications.
