Techi-Farmers

Inspiration

In our City, Assiut, Agriculture was the main field in it, but after industrial development in Egypt, farmers started to leave their lands to work in industry. So, we hoped to return the city to what it was.

What it does

It facilitates agricultural merchandising by connecting farmers to traders to transporters.

How we built it

We aren't experts in Andriod developing. So, we just started working on the project in phase 2 using Unity and C#.

Challenges we ran into

We faced the small time to work on the project, nut we did our best.

Being the most important thing in agricultural merchandising.

Main Idea

Techi-Farmers is An open Platform for all Bulk buyers and sellers of agricultural products in Egypt. The main idea is to make a platform that allows all buyers from Egypt to access a list to all available sellers of the same product with ratings and prices. after this process is done they can easily contact each other through the site and then choose a transporter (transporters can create a profile as well and show their work) to better handle the item. this allows the seller to sell his products in new areas and the buyer to find the cheapest product prices and finding the easiest way to ship them as well. creating a community that produces a cycle creating competition, ease of access and development online.
