Inspiration
Teachers around the world spend countless hours grading tests instead of focusing on what truly matters — supporting and inspiring students. We wanted to solve the problem of delayed feedback and overwhelming teacher workload by using AI to handle repetitive assessment tasks. Our mission: give teachers time back and help students learn from mistakes faster.
What it does
TeachAssist AI automatically:
- Grades both multiple-choice and open-answer questions
- Generates personalized feedback for each response
- Produces a final score and evaluation report
- Helps students understand not only what was wrong, but why
A teacher simply uploads a test and an answer key → AI handles the rest.
Challenges we ran into
- Designing a prompt that grades accurately and fairly
- Structuring answer files so AI can analyze them correctly
- Keeping feedback clear and educational, not generic

What we learned
We learned how powerful AI can be when the goal is supporting Teachers, not replacing them. We also gained experience with:
