Inspiration

Seneca Babcock CDC'c current website and building off of that. As well as, the specific requests made by the organization.

What it does

Our solution is web scraping the internet and populating it into the website that is easily accessible by the users.

How we built it

Mocked the current website in Figma to adjust the structure. The web scraper was built in VS Code using python and other libraries/frameworks. Interactive maps constructed in Google myMaps.

Challenges we ran into

Learning how to navigate Figma and debugging the code for the web scraper. Understanding the final display of information that was gathered by the web scraper. The most efficient yet simple way to implement the web scraper so it would best benefit Seneca Babcock CDC.

What we learned

Learned a lot about scope and how to maintain it during the beginning stages of the project. Applying aspects that were outside the original scope to future developments.

What's next for TechBuffalo Hackathon - Seneca Babcock CDC Group 20

Hopefully, being able to leave a lasting impact on the Seneca Babcock CDC and implementing future developments.
