"Everything can wait, but not Agriculture. " The climate and weather conditions are changing drastically, the pollution is increasing on an uncountable scale, technology is advancing, but still the techniques followed in farming and agriculture are decades old.

By 2050 the world population would increase by 32%, the food demand would get higher by 50% but the production of cereals and food products are not able to keep up the pace. There is an decrease of 0.3% global annual production of rice whereas 0.9% decrease in global annual wheat production. The corn belt of Indiana and Illinois is shaving up by 8% annually. As per the Central Government despite a multi-pronged approach to improving income and social security of farmers, over 12,000 suicides were reported in the agricultural sector every year since 2013. Farmer suicides account for approximately 10% of all suicides in India. The main reason behind all these problems is one and that is the obsolete techniques of farming followed by farmers today. Soil testing using chromatographic measurement of soil.

How we built it

We had done all the lab test and computational chemistry in IITR-CSIR whereas the coding and built part in lpu.

in maintaining library location wise as soil chart changes with location and weather changes.

found the perfect chemical for the device. prototype hardware ready. Internship for project building in IITR-CSIR, with Mr. Alok Dhawan(Director) as our project mentor. Young Innovators Award for TechAgro from CSIR.

learned about computational chemistry, strategic planning, Arduino serial monitor use and html,css use for web designing.

What's next for TechAgro

Patent and commercialization of product so as to increasing the crop yield and affecting 37,00,00,000 farmers directly.
