Inspiration
The inspiration for Tech Talent HQ came from the frustration of relevant job searching as a technical professional. When someone says "crack coding interviews", for what job are they exactly aiming for? With an ever growing variety of jobs in the tech industry, it is necessary that one is aware of the jobs he/she is well suited for given he/she's skills.
We saw a need for a platform that could match techies with opportunities that were tailored to their specific skill sets.
What it does
Tech Talent HQ is a website that helps techies find relevant job opportunities that are suited to their specific skill sets. The website takes as input the various skill sets the user has. Then, using the latest AI tools (ChatGPT), we generate high-quality jobs tailored to what the user inputs.
How we built it
We built Tech Talent HQ using a combination of various programming languages such as Python, HTML, CSS and JavaScript. We used Machine Learning models like ChatGPT to generate high-quality responses to the user's input. We also used a number of libraries and frameworks such as Django to build the front-end and back-end of the website.
Challenges we ran into
One of the major challenges we faced was integrating all the different components of the website (AI, Django, JS, Python) to work seamlessly together.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We're proud of the fact that we were able to create a website that can match techies with relevant job opportunities in a very short period of time! We're also proud of the fact that our website is very user-friendly and easy to navigate, with a clean UI:)
What we learned
We learned a lot about using AI in web development and the challenges that come with it. We also learned about the importance of user experience and how to design a website that is easy to use.
What's next for Tech Talent HQ
In the future, we plan to continue to improve the website by adding more features such as resume building and career coaching. We also plan to expand the website's reach by targeting more users and industries. We want to make Tech Talent HQ the leading platform for tech professionals to find their dream career.
