InspirationThe Smart Auto-Cut Sensor is an affordable, microcontroller-based electrical safety system designed to prevent residential fires in low-income households. Standard safety panels like MCBs are often too expensive for vulnerable communities. To solve this, our project continuously monitors the real-time electrical load using a current sensor. If the load crosses a dangerous threshold—indicating a potential short-circuit or power surge—the system's logic instantly triggers a relay to cut off the main AC power supply within milliseconds. This rapid response stops electrical fires before they start. Our current prototype features a web-based interactive simulation demonstrating this life-saving logic efficiently.
