Inspiration

EmpowerHer was inspired by the need to address the numerous health disparities and barriers faced by women globally, particularly in accessing quality healthcare. Recognizing the importance of providing culturally competent and inclusive healthcare services, we set out to create a solution that would empower women to prioritize their overall health with confidence and dignity.

What it does

EmpowerHer is an AI-powered mobile application dedicated to revolutionizing women's health access. The platform provides a comprehensive space for women to connect with culturally competent healthcare providers based on their preferences. Leveraging cutting-edge AI technology, EmpowerHer matches users with healthcare providers who understand and respect their unique needs, regardless of gender, ethnicity, or socioeconomic status.

How we built it

EmpowerHer was built using a combination of technologies, including AI-recommender systems for service provider matching and a user-friendly mobile application interface. The development process involved extensive research, user feedback, and collaboration with healthcare professionals to ensure the platform's effectiveness and inclusivity.

Challenges we ran into

One of the main challenges we encountered during the development of EmpowerHer was ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the AI-recommender systems.
