Children with disabilities, specifically, are often left out when we say equality, inclusivity, and engagement. When in fact they have so much potential to be unleashed within them. With regards to their parents, some feel overwhelmed when they throw tantrums. Sometimes, they also don't know how to handle them or what to do with them. The team came up with the idea that what if we can make a difference? What if those parents and their children who suffer from ADHD don't have to suffer alone? An app that is not only meant to be used today but can be revolutionized in the future. It inspires us to be one of the difference-makers. As the parents understand their child and their child gets the amount of help they deserve from their parents, imagine what it can do if they get to practice it. It do not only help them individually or in their homes, but they can also draw hope and inspire other people that it is possible to be gentle and to handle children with ADHD better.

What it does

The app built is called BrightPath. It consists of tips, a parents guide, a survey if they conclude potential ADHD, as well as doctors and hospitals whom they can call to have consultation.

How we built it

We used Firebase and Flutterflow

Challenges we ran into

In terms of tech, it was the developer's first time to use Firebase and Flutterflow, so there were a lot of recaps. In terms of the concept, we took careful consideration of our scope as well as the features that can help both parents and their children suffering from ADHD.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of the idea that we came up with. We are proud that we already won just by thinking and making this application possible. To make a difference is always a great start to winning. Also, as for a first-timer attending this type of event, we are proud that we were able to finish it and collaborate with each other.

What we learned

We learned that it is important to always include empathy when creating a solution. Yes, winning is something to look forward to but it is the fact that we can possibly help our fellow people through our potentials and skills.

To further improve this application and revolutionize it. Add features and more. Also, what's next for the team is to win again. By means of winning, it is being able to come up again with project that is full of potential and enhance the project we have created now.
