Inspiration

My inspiration is the challenges of not able to do a thorough follow-up with new Women-In-Tech entrants which makes them loose interest in the community as well as technology it self.

* What it does*

The platform brings together experienced and aspiring tech- women to;

1.Connect them to (i)Mentors (ii)Mentees (iii)Trainers (iv)Resources 2.Kick-start a newbies'career in technology 3.Share opportunities available for women in the technology space like Grants,Gigs,Internships,Jobs,investments and even volunteering roles. 4.Create learning resources -audio,visuals,text- for by the members of the community.

* How we built it*

We divided the role amidst ourselves which is design,content and core.

Challenges we ran into

So building was challenging because we had to collaborate from distances apart.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are really excited because we were able to commence and complete the project before the deadline.

* What we learned*

We learned a lot more about Facebook tools and how we could use them to increase the services we provide. Examples of some of the tools integrated on our platform are Facebook chat messenger,Facebook instant articles,Facebook for work e.t.c

What's next for Tech Aisle

Proper launch,branding and advertising,Creating lead generation awareness and user acquisition. It is a project built by tech-women for women and we are sure women will be excited about it as much as we are.!
