TeamUp

Inspiration

Inspiration of this project came while working with a team for steechit.com, we worked remotely. We were using trello but to be honest we never really found it easy and fun to use as its too complicated and it was usually hard to decide what was next. So I decided to build something similar but really simple and fun.

What it does

Teamup helps you create projects and manage the project easily with your team.

How we built it

It was built using nodejs (express.js) for the backend services and react for frontend. The project is component based, which makes it easy to manage and review

Challenges we ran into

It ran into few security issues which I have fixed.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The project got some really great reviews which were focused on how simple it was to use

What we learned

I learnt some few things on how to build a more secure app with nodejs

What's next for TeamUp

I want to improve the ui and also complete some important features like reminders
