Inspiration

Casual multiplayer games such as Skribbl.io and Among Us have become a staple in these troubling times. And while we do enjoy these games, it would be great to have records of the fun and entertaining matches played with your friends. Hence, we created teamPetty for players to keep track of their wins (and losses) in games that should have these functionalities.

What it does

teamPetty allows you to create a session with friends for different games (currently only supports Among Us) where you can record down the final score after the game. This allows you to keep track of all the thrilling games you had with your friends.

How we built it

We made use of Node.js, React, HTML and CSS to build a simple web app.

Challenges we ran into

We were all very new to web app development (and hackathons in general) so it was quite a struggle.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

It's semi-functional.

What we learned

Basically everything you see today has been learned in the past 24hours.

What's next for teamPetty

Adding other games. Allowing users to create accounts to keep track of their own games.
