The growing trend of e-commerce has made online shopping a prime target for scammers. They exploit the absence of physical storefronts to deceive consumers with fake stores, and counterfeit, or misleading products. Such fraudulent activities not only result in significant financial losses, but also damage reputations, and erode consumer trust.

In response to the issues, we developed the project "Real or Fake", an advanced multi-approach analytics AI-driven community platform that aims to combat e-commerce fraud across various online shopping platforms. Our website allows users to ensure the reliability of products by applying AI to analyze and process the extracted data from a specified online product link in different approaches. By simply entering a product link, users can check the product's authenticity with ease. Moreover, we empower users to contribute by inputting and updating a dynamic database of known counterfeit stores and fraudulent products, enhancing the system’s ability. With our user-friendly interface, credibility, and board compatibility, we strongly believe that our project can make a meaningful impact on the world and the e-commerce industry. We are committed to helping consumers regain their rights and fairness in online shopping—everyone deserves to receive high-quality and authentic products.
