Inspiration
We were inspired from virtual influencers, who use their models to interact with fans
What it does
Our program Monica produce a summarized answer to user's queries and create a AI model that narrates the answers to user
How we built it
We utilized GPT's and HeyGen's API to produce our answers and narration video. We then bundled it up with Kivy to provide a User interface
Challenges we ran into
Since GPT and HeyGen's API trials have limited uses, we have to carefully plan and made sure we use those limited uses efficiently.
We ran into trouble with the GUI library, since it is our first time developing a frontend interface, we struggled with positioning and sizing the video and text box.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We are proud with Monica. Given the limited time and workload from NTU, we managed to program the AI despite being unfamiliar with API and GUI libraries.
What we learned
We learn how to efficiently develop a product, the integration of API and the development of an application.
What's next for Team87_8H_Monica
We are looking forward to produce AI content and publish it on to the web.
