ECOLIFE Fuel Efficient Stoves Project
What it does
Our App allows team members in the field to input the data they collect, then upload it to the Cloud when Wifi services are available. The App is linked to website where data is organized in a way that is presentable to donors.
How I built it
This App was built using Android Studio. The website was built using Adobe Dreamweaver.
Challenges I ran into
For the webpage, our team accidentally deleted a div container that crashed the program,which means we had to start from scratch on the website. On the app side, we ran into some challenges while trying to create a search field.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
We were able to take our app from several pages down to about 4 or 5, which streamlined a lot of things and made developing the app much easier.
What I learned
We learned how to come together as a team, using our different programming backgrounds, to create an app that would best fit the criteria we were given.
What's next for Team14_'s Hackathon Project
Next, Team14_ needs to directly connect the app to the webpage.
