Our solution is a portable pulse-ox and thermometer forehead patch worn by patients suspected of having COVID-19 that interfaces with an application to monitor blood oxygen saturation levels and temperature at home. The device will continuously monitor these conditions, and the interfaced application will alert the patient if they should seek medical attention. The plan for manufacturing these devices is a collaborative effort among institutions, companies, maker spaces, and at-home hobbyists to join together and donate their time, resources, and skills.
