## Inspiration VeraCost was created to make online shopping smarter, simpler, and more transparent. Comparing products and finding the best value can be time-consuming, so we wanted to bring shopping assistance and AI-powered decision support into one platform.

What It Does

VeraCost combines product comparison, barcode scanning, and an NVIDIA Nemotron-powered Decision Support System within its Simulator Workspace. It helps users explore options, analyze scenarios, and make more informed purchasing decisions.

How We Built It

We built VeraCost as a web-based application, integrating its shopping tools and AI decision-support interface into a unified experience. The NVIDIA Nemotron integration enables AI-generated analysis and recommendations based on user-provided scenarios.

Challenges and Learnings

Integrating AI into an existing application, configuring API access, and connecting the frontend with backend services were important challenges. This project helped us learn about AI integration, web development, API configuration, and deployment.
