The inspiration for Revive came from observing how many people avoid seeking medical care due to cost, lack of clarity, or difficulty accessing doctors. I wanted to create a solution that empowered individuals to take charge of their health without the financial burden or complicated processes that often accompany healthcare.

Through this project, I learned about the barriers to healthcare access and how important it is to provide clear, actionable information. I also gained insight into how technology can serve as a first step in the healthcare journey, offering users reliable resources for symptom tracking and at-home care options. This knowledge helped me understand the significance of making healthcare more approachable and affordable.

Building Revive involved researching common health symptoms and effective treatments that could be managed at home. I focused on creating a user-friendly platform that allows users to input their symptoms, provides clear treatment suggestions, and offers information on affordable medication. The app was designed to be easy to navigate, with a focus on delivering actionable health information without overcomplicating the process.

One of the biggest challenges was ensuring the accuracy of the health information provided. I had to work closely with healthcare professionals to verify the advice and treatments. Another challenge was designing the interface to be intuitive for users of all ages, which required multiple iterations and user feedback. Lastly, ensuring that the app remained affordable to users was a constant balancing act between providing quality resources and keeping costs low.

The project reinforced the idea that accessible, affordable healthcare can significantly improve quality of life. Revive isn’t a replacement for doctors, but a tool that helps bridge the gap to professional medical care, making health management easier and more affordable for everyone.
