Repairio

Inspiration: Our journey with Repairio began with a shared frustration over the prevailing culture of disposability, particularly concerning electronics. Witnessing the environmental repercussions of this linear consumption model ignited a collective passion for change. We were inspired to explore sustainable alternatives that could address this issue and promote responsible consumption.

Learning: As a team, our journey involved deep immersion in understanding our users' needs and challenges. Leveraging Figma as our primary tool, we learned to think from the users' perspective, prioritizing functionality and optimizing features to deliver a seamless experience. Through collaborative brainstorming sessions and iterative design processes, we honed our skills in empathetic design and discovered the power of visualization in conveying ideas.

Building Process: Our journey with Repairio primarily revolved around harnessing the capabilities of Figma. From initial wireframing to prototyping, Figma became our central platform for collaborative design. We meticulously crafted user flows and interface designs, iterating based on feedback and insights gathered along the way. Challenges in optimizing layout for an intuitive user experience and maintaining consistency across screens were encountered. However, through collaborative problem-solving and leveraging Figma's capabilities, we overcame these obstacles effectively.

Challenges Faced: Throughout our journey with Repairio, we encountered several challenges, primarily focused on optimizing the layout for an intuitive user experience. Ensuring that every element was positioned thoughtfully and that the flow of the app was seamless required meticulous attention to detail. Additionally, as we iterated on the design, maintaining consistency across different screens and interfaces presented its own set of challenges. However, through collaborative problem-solving and leveraging the capabilities of Figma, we were able to overcome these obstacles effectively, ultimately refining Repario into a user-friendly platform that aligns with our sustainability goals.
