We were inspired by the on-theme nature of the EOG track and the interesting problems it posed. We used Node.js (specifically Next.js) to create the website and learned a lot about how to use JavaScript, TypeScript, and various functionalities of APIs. Those APIs were also our biggest challenge, as we were unable to access the public EOG API via the front-end due to a settings error. We also struggled with computer mutiny, hour-long GitHub commits, and 40% instant charge reduction. Nevertheless, we definitely learned a lot from getting through those struggles.
