Inspiration

The paper trail involved in getting admission into Secondary Schools and the time it consumes trying to give information to the parents about the school.

What it does

Ability to provide information about Portals Academy from home and also taking the entrance test from the comfort of your home.

How we built it

Using power platforms, power virtual agents to create chatbot for the school where parents and guardians can make enquiries and linking it to the Microsoft forms for the entrance examination which was now to automated to send an email response when submitted.

Challenges we ran into

The major challenge was that the technology been used was not updating the Excel table as response were coming in, in real time. And this set back was because we didn't include the powerapps solution to it.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We were able to find solutions and the power platforms used worked effectively without any issue.

What we learned

Working as a team create solutions, Microsoft power platforms makes the world a better place.

What's next for TEAM PORTAL

Building a PowerApp that we help us to get prospective student data in real time and using the corrections received to improve on the project and also implementing it in the school environment.
