Inspiration
Our inspiration comes from a mentor who thought it was a good idea. Also, we are busy students, so time management is of utmost importance.
What it does
Our project is a web application that functions as an alarm. It has chatbot features where you can talk to it. It recommends retro music from 1940-1969 when it is in countdown mode.
How we built it
We build the site out of CSS and HTML with some JavaScript, which functions as the frontend. For the backend, We also employed Python to build a chatbot using openai. We also used other libraries like Flask and JSON in the web application.
Challenges we ran into
Fully integrating the chatbot into the web application.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Getting the two pngs , the alarm, and the background into the web application. Finally getting OpenAPI to work after so many failures. Solving the issue of getting the chatbot into the HTML (despite having issues later on.
What we learned
Despite the failure, there are some things to be proud of. You learn a lot from your failures.
What's next for Team
The team expresses a desire to improve their coding for potential future competitions. Setting goals for continuous improvement is a positive mindset. It would be helpful to specify what aspects of coding they aim to enhance and how they plan to achieve this improvement.
