Inspiration
We were inspired learning about Google's APIs and how they might be utilized to track someone's mood and notice improvement as they practice mindfulness. We thought this might be an interesting problem to test on gamers, who have noticeably poor performance once their mood is off.
What it does
The app uses google's APIs to detect mood and then uses an algorithm to assign a percentage chance of winning their game based on their mood. They are then able to do exercises to calm down, and use the camera to then see if there was improvement.
How we built it
We used figma
Challenges we ran into
We worked a long time to simulate someone using the camera in our prototype but ultimately had to take it out because it was too glitchy.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
So much! we really learned how to work and communicate efficiently as a team, and were so excited to learn about how hackathons work. We will be back!
What we learned
So much! Loved learning intro to coding and how APIs work. We were really inspired to learn how we might design with APIs to create positive change.
What's next for Team Oslo
We are all finishing our UX bootcamp and are looking to submit to Design week upcoming
