Inspiration
We were passionate about the subject matter of ending chronic homelessness in the St. Louis region.
What it does
Links multiple service providers; gives first responders a way to rapidly refer potiential clients; obtains predictive data; connects with the eviction docket of the court system; Game allows youth to communicate their lifechanging family situation; Mobile App allows first responders to connect with our centeralized system
How we built it
We used open source software such as appy-pie, weebly, google-sites, google-sheets, and google-forms and combined them into a single central data center
Challenges we ran into
Syntax errors, and our Dance Moves
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Our ability to communicate, our team diversity, we created memories that would last a life time, we all learned from each other.
What we learned
We learned different things, some of us learned a new language, some of us dove deeper into the problem of chronic homelessness, we were able to look at problems through different lens.
What's next for Team Justice League Global Hack Submission
We want to pilot this program in the city of St. Louis, Work with the City of St. Louis and St. Louis County, Love to pilot the game in the St. Louis Public School System, and pilot the first responders app in the City of St. Louis and St. Louis County.
