FitnessTotal.org

Your comprehensive collection of physical exercises complete with live demonstrations.

Overview

FitnessTotal is built with 600 lines of code and contains over 250+ exercises. It leverages raw JSON and image data that I happened to stumble upon while searching for fitness data directories. This incredible find from Everkinectic's GitHub repository provided me with 500 SVG images of exercise forms and their associated JSON descriptions.

Features

  • Exercise Gallery: A rich gallery of exercises categorized by equipment type, including:

    • Bodyweight
    • Bands
    • Barbells
    • Balls
    • Dumbbells
    • Machines
  • Transitioning Image Demonstrations: Images of exercises that smoothly transition to simulate GIF-like motion, offering a visual demonstration of how to perform each exercise.

  • Search & Filters:

    • A search bar to quickly find exercises by name.
    • Filter buttons to narrow down exercises based on equipment types.

Why FitnessTotal?

By curating this collection, FitnessTotal aims to improve community awareness of how to complete exercises with the correct form, not only preventing injury but also adding confidence.

The source data (SVG images and JSON descriptions) came from an open-source directory, Everkinectic's GitHub repository, which is free to use under the CC Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International license.

FitnessTotal is your ultimate destination for discovering new exercises and mastering them with clear demonstrations and concise descriptions.
