The Pulseline transports patients on the planet Thodelandia from PG to HSL smoothly using a MagLev train, chosen for reliability and consistency over other methods of transport such as planes and boats. The train, demo rails, carriage + cross section, medical equipment, and desert tube were modelled in SolidWorks and 3D printed for a model scaled to LEGO minifigures. We ran into challenges such as finding a method to power the train, and came up with harnessing Thodelandia's high air density through wind power and converting it to electrical energy. We're proud of our final physical model and how well it turned out, as well as the 3D renders of the train. In this experience, we learned a lot about 3D modelling and rendering using SolidWorks and Blender, and strengthened our communication and teamwork skills.
