We implemented spouts and bolts to analyze the Twitter stream. We began by plotting tweets by lat/lon using Twitter4J and Google Maps. We then added a bolt to detect profanity in tweets, which could potentially be used by markers to prevent them from placing advertisements on pages containing offensive content.
