Inspiration
Up to 150,000 lives a year could be saved through First Aid in the UK alone, Only 5% of people feel knowledgeable and confident to provide it.
What it does
We created a platform where you can learn First Aid knowledge on 5 different emergency categories, test your new skills in a Multiple Choice and Choose The Correct Order Quizzes and finally, perfect your comprehension until you can pass the Final Quiz An extra feature - the CPR Meter - a way to rest the pace of your CPR rhythm
How we built it
We build it using Python, mostly the library Tkinter
Challenges we ran into
Most of our ideas would have been best implemented as a website, however most of us did not have any experience creating one. We searched for alternative platforms to showcase our idea, using a programming language that we are familiar with, and found Tkinter library in Python
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The hardest part was to come up with an idea and to start coding. Also, setting up Git. To be able to create something from scratch was also a big achievement. We are proud that we managed to create a working platform, using completely new skills we learned during these 24 hours.
What's next for Team Copper
Continue developing our programming skills individually
