Inspiration

The inspiration for this solutions came from the team's experiences with shared plans, backed by the fact we want to have better data and AI pushes and payment predictions for individual users on Wireless, Internet and Cable packages.

What it does

It allows more credit cards to be saved into one MyRogers account giving the capability to each individual on the account to pay their own phone bill, which will lead to a better customer experience, and ultimately more valuable predictive and AI push notifications.

How I built it

We built it via Swift and Auto Layout.

Challenges I ran into

The challenges we ran into were :

  • Where the new credit card should live (under Account # or Phone Number)
  • If we build this in the MyRogers app or if we needed a 3rd party vendor

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

We're proud that we're solving a problem that would make both the consumer experience easier, and would have a strong impact on the Rogers bottom line.

What I learned

We learned a lot about Roger's challenges in the market, and the short term goals the digital team needs to solve.
