We used Tabs for a Cause as a sample product which inspired us to create this prototype We wanted to include some gamification aspects which is why the user can interact with the forest and grow their own trees as they donate to charities.
What We Learned
We learned how to use Figma, but more importantly we learned how to come up with an idea and transfer that idea to a meaningful prototype in a very small amount of time. We had to decide what was important enough to pursue and what had to stay cut with very limited resources.
What it does
This software allows users to collect acorns when they open a new tab. Acorns can be used to purchase trees saplings that then will grow into full trees and generate revenue for a charity of their choice. There is information pertaining to climate change and our environment throughout the experience. How we built it
We built this software in Figma as a sample prototype.
Having never used Figma before today getting up to speed so that we could use it effectively in the short allotted time was a major challenge that we overcame.
