Inspiration

What it does

ExpatConnect is a mobile application that aims to help expatriates and their families to settle down in Singapore.

How we built it

We built this interactive prototype using Figma.

Challenges we ran into

As we did not have connections with any expats, it was difficult for us to ask them questions to help us identify the pain-points that they face when moving into Singapore. However, we made use of online resources such as forums and YouTube videos to help us identify possible pain-points that they face.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud that we managed to prototype and ideate the project within a day.

What we learned

We have learnt how to make use of Design Thinking to help us formulate the prototype.

What's next for Team at least we showed up - CodeFiesta 2021 submission

If we can chosen, we aim to improve on the user flow of the mobile app. Most importantly, we would want to interview expats in Singapore to actually find out what problems they face when moving to Singapore. By doing so, this will help us plan better and know what features to include in the app.
