Inspiration
One of our members, an RA, came up with the idea after meetings with their residents. These residents were mainly freshmen who had class schedules and deadlines that they'd want on some calendar app. The process should be easy enough to input their courses, syllabi, and potentially clubs/interests (which we would handle through web scraping)
What it does
It takes provided syllabi, scrapes deadlines/exam dates, and adds it to a calendar (theoretically, Google Calendar). There would also be an option to add custom events that may not be covered by our default standards.
How we built it
Lots of AI. We didn't know an ounce of React/TS, Java Spring Boot, and handling API calls. Thus, in the end, we couldn't get OAuth to work in our favor.
Challenges we ran into
Knowing nothing is a huge struggle, and that is a struggle that took us down.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Some of us took away some concepts behind each part of the web stack; with legitimate learning, this may be more beneficial for the future.
What we learned
We know nothing, but that doesn't mean we'll still know nothing.

Making it function.
