Inspiration

We wanted to help local communities share responsibility for their artifacts as well as make money from the museums that display their pieces.

What it does

This blockchain program stores the sender and receiver of the cash payments regarding the goods. It then updates the chain when different payment amounts are entered.

How we built it

We built this program in solidity and javascript using the outline of the HelloBlockchain initial program.

Challenges we ran into Some challenges we experienced were from the use of solidity and javascript which we all had to learn.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We were happy to get all the test-code to work correctly, especially the Pet Shop. It was also nice to understand more about blockchain.

What we learned

We learned how blockchain is implemented as well as what smart contracts do. This knowledge allowed us to apply our ideas to our project. We also learned about art provenance and how to trace the ownership of art.
