Team 2 - Youth Upward Mobility Project

A mentor described a friend who has been unable to secure employment because of a charge from when he was 18. This prompted us to consider the employment barriers young people face and how we can support their inclusion in mainstream job opportunities.

Connect unhoused youth in conflict with the law to paid work placements with local trades businesses. By partnering with the SHSM program, youth can gain real employable skills, earn school credit, and build positive connections with peers outside their usual environment.
