We have designed a mobile application, Study Village, for university students. We have focused on creating a fun and interactive way for university students to collaborate and build a village together.

Students can input their upcoming assignment with a group of friends that are doing the same course. The application has a function that has gamification vibes to it. The user does not have to use their real profile, instead they use nicknames and get to choose fun and cute illustrated characters of animals available in our application to represent themselves.

In our application, users will then be allowed to create a community and add their own members to it. In the group, they are given an empty community that belongs to all the group members. We also implement different themes of community that users can choose from. Once any member of the group submits an assignment within the group, they are rewarded with elements that will be used to build a community shared by the group. Upon any completion of tasks within the group by any member, all members will receive a pop-up notification that tells them about the growth in their mutual community.

This aims to foster a sense of collaboration and create a supportive environment for peers to motivate each other. Our application aims to promote support for university students, making them feel less competitive against each other but instead foster a community that supports each other. The rewarded system is implemented for students to enjoy their assignments instead of stressing about it.

The application implements a function where each user, represented by fun characters, have their own community that they are building. In this community, it is a 3D virtual simulation that takes you to a different world. In this sense, the students can escape from the reality of stressing over their assignments into a 3D virtual world of their own.
