Inspiration

The desire to make a positive difference in the lives of individuals struggling with drug addiction and their families can be a powerful motivator. Creating a website that offers support, resources, and information to help people overcome addiction can be deeply fulfilling. Some individuals may have personal experiences with drug addiction, either having struggled with addiction themselves or having witnessed its impact on loved ones. This personal connection can drive them to take action and provide support to others facing similar challenges. The website could serve as a platform to raise awareness about the dangers of drug addiction.

What it does

1)Provide Doctor Consultation

2)Monitor their everyday intake of drugs

3)Provides counselling

    a)on how drugs can effect health

    b)how to be relieved from it

    c)how to keep them away from depression and anxiety

How we built it

Plan and design: Identifying the target audience and the specific information and resources you want to provide related to reducing drug addiction.

HTML Structure: Start building the HTML structure of the website.

CSS Styling: Adding CSS code to style the website. Define colors, fonts, layout, and other visual elements to make the website visually appealing and user-friendly.

Content Creation: Write informative and engaging content related to drug addiction, its impact, prevention, treatment, and recovery. Use clear and concise language to convey your message effectively.

Launch the Website: Purchase a domain name and web hosting to make the website accessible to the public.

Challenges we ran into

1)Understanding the target audience: Designing a website that effectively addresses the needs and concerns of drug takers and those struggling with addiction requires a deep understanding of their mindset, behaviors, and motivations.

2)Privacy and security: Users seeking help with addiction may be concerned about their privacy and confidentiality. Implementing robust security measures and clearly communicating the website's privacy policy is vital.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We built a website that will help the people who are suffering from drugs, be it their mental or physical health.

Empowerment: Through counseling, individuals are empowered to take charge of their lives, make positive changes, and work towards achieving their goals

What we learned

Identify the Problem: Define specific challenges related to drug addiction that you want to address during the hackathon.

Collaboration: Forming a team with diverse skills and perspectives. Collaborate with people from different backgrounds, designers, and those with personal experiences related to addiction.

Prototype Development: During the hackathon, working on developing a prototype for our website.

What's next for Team 12_LifeBeyondDrugs

We will be building on this website effectively and reach out to the one's who really want to get rid of the drug addiction.
