Making a biocompatible piezoelectric sensor.
Aluminum Scandium Nitride (AlScN) is top-notch biocompatible piezoelectric material first discovered in 2009. It is especially notable for retaining piezoelectric properties at sub-10 nm thicknesses. Despite this, there has been no attempt to make a biosensor using AlScN. That's where our project comes in.
