Inspiration
We are inspired by the story behind the cause of Lake Macquarie and Newcastle Suicide Prevention Network (LMNSPN). We would like to provide our innovative solution to making their organisation more accessible in the technological space and more recognisable within the Hunter region.
What it does
Our main deliverables for this project divided into two main deliverables that solve two of the problems we identify:
- Deliverable 1: Create a more approachable web app that would help their organisation more accessible to people from all walks of life.
- Deliverable 2: Create a marketing strategy that would incorporate different aspects that reflect our organisation scale and culture, using AI to create social media app, and proposing approach using fridge magnet to spread the information about our organisation.
How we built it
We separated our teams into 2 teams that would focus on 2 deliverables:
- To achieve deliverable 1, we attempts to create a better, more accessible web app
- To achieve deliverable 2, we decided to first identify the possible strategy while keeping in mind the scale of our organisation, the demographics we are trying to reach, and then evaluate them using a custom scoring system that we derive. After that, we work on 1 of the marketing strategy and create a demo for it.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
We're proud that our team was able to deliver a great project. We was also proud that we are able to be conscious about the LMNSPN amazing cause and we hope that they would continue to increase their recognisability to reach more people in need in the future.
What's next for Team 10 Suicide Prevention Network Project
Our next step would be to try and make the project actually deployable in the real-life scenario. This would involve rigorous testing and working closely to professional in mental health department to make this closer to people of our community.
