How can we track the number of Say Yes Alumni who obtained gainful employment from connecting with an employer from postings via our social media platforms.
Why?
To collect data for future grants, measure economic sustainability & mobility, and visualize impact toward building a diversified workforce.
Our Goal
Connect Say Yes Buffalo Scholars and Alumni to full time employment and create opportunities for SYB Scholars & Alumni to view current postings and interact with employers.
Our Solution
The Social Media Website is meant solely for Say Yes Buffalo community (students, employers, alumni, mentors. Ambassadors, etc.) to connect together. Members can apply for jobs, post stories, access SYB support resources, etc. This site will track user numbers long term and allows students to update community on their employment progress, and it also uses a SurveyMonkey Form for members to directly update SYB on their journey.
The Linkedin Web Scraper gets qualitative and quantitative data from Linkedin profiles of those who have SYB on their Linkedin. This allows access to immediate numbers and stories of SYB community members.
