We were inspired by our Professor Boyd and our mutual interest in evolutionary biology.
What it does
Uses a database to run a BLAST on sequences for similarity to either bacteria or the insect host
Challenges I ran into
We had difficulties with using Nextlink.
What I learned
We learned a lot of BLAST, sequencing methods, and how to work together in a team environment.
