Inspiration
What inspired us the most is the exponential use of smart homes. It is a real growing trend and what is better than bring AI into this to create an even powerful tool to maximize profit and having a more Eco-friendly house.
What it does
Our reinforced smart home would be able to decide by itself to turn on/off the lights and TV in each room.
How I built it
Using reinforcement learning, We're creating the agents and training them.
Challenges I ran into
Beside the brainstorming part and technical issues, the hardest part was actually being online at the same time because we're almost end to end when it comes to timing.
Accomplishments that I'm proud of
The biggest accomplishment is finding the motivation to continue on working on the project.
What I learned
Final touches never seem to end.
What's next for TEAM 07 - Reinforced Smart Home
Agents are pretty flexible and additional features could be added more than just controlling the lightning and tv.
