Inspiration

IEEE Smart Village sponsors projects in all parts of the world. With a foundation of reliable, renewable power, we enable communities with the skills and knowledge to solve many of their own problems. This kind of project is supported by IEEE Foundation and donations from people around the world. The COVID 19 pandemic affected also the economy. Bringing we get a series of problems that will be more reflected in the medium term. Considering, until these dates, there are countries that have not been able to overcome the quarantine, prolonging the effects that the economic crisis will have on them.

What it does

Smart Support App will support the continuity of IEEE Smart Village projects by the using of Crowdfunding ($) and Crowdsourcing (Volunteering), online or presential way, with the use of blockchain technology.

How we built it

Blockchain: Hyperledger is totally public and it is possible to consult the operations that have been carried out. Each block has a hash pointer. The system is intended to be created through the Hyperledger framework since it has current documentation.

Challenges we ran into

Do in a better way the app to be able for other projects Do better and do the idea with blockchain technology Do able the use of bitcoin for donations
