Inspiration Finding the right tutor or specific class is often difficult. Teachsy bridges this gap, seamlessly connecting passionate educators with eager students in a user-friendly digital space.

What it does Teachsy connects teachers and students online. Students discover, book, or request classes, while tutors showcase expertise, create listings, and manage student interactions.

How we built it Built by a team of two using SQLite, Flask, typescript, and React a dynamic frontend experience. A backend and database are required for full implementation and data persistence.

Challenges we ran into Designing intuitive UIs for both student and tutor roles was complex. Implementing dynamic features like profile editing and managing scope as a small team were key challenges.

Accomplishments that we're proud of We successfully created the core student-tutor connection loop with distinct role views. The unique class request feature and dynamic profile editing are key accomplishments we're proud of.

What we learned We enhanced our frontend skills (React, Tailwind, TS) and learned valuable UI/UX design principles for multiple user types. We also improved our team collaboration and project management abilities.

What's next for Teachsy Future plans include full backend implementation, enhanced search/filtering, integrated communication tools, and booking/payment systems. Adding ratings and group study features are also envisioned.
