Inspiration
Many teachers feel overwhelmed by the amount of administrative tasks and paperwork required in their jobs. This takes time away from focusing on teaching and building connections with students. This leads to less teacher frustration and burnout.
What it does
An app that helps teachers streamline tasks like taking attendance, tracking grades, communicating with parents, and sharing lesson plans can be a huge help. Such an app reduces time spent on clerical work, improves organization, and allows teachers to focus their energy on the students.
Overall, an app that centralizes essential teaching functions helps declutter and simplify a teacher's workload. It allows them to devote more care and attention to what matters most - the students. The ability to focus on teaching instead of paperwork makes for happier, more effective teachers.
How we built it
I used AWS AI App Creator, and multiple features within the app. Such as haiku creator, image creator, and chat bot.
Challenges we ran into
Image creator doesn't always create something that relates to the subject at hand.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
To have been a part of creating something truly valuable to the education of students and streamlining some of the tasks that are required to create lessons plans, engaging materials and resources for teachers.
What we learned
There is a world of possibilities waiting to be explored and experiment with using with AI technology. AI has cracked the glass ceiling of innovation!
What's next for Teachers Corner
The sky is the limit. I can't wait to experiment with AI to optimize my prototype and provide even more value to the users.
